Hotel New Otani Hakata (1-1-2 Watanabe-dori, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka; General Manager: Masayuki Yamazaki) will hold a special concert 'Kizuna' by members of Hollywood in Japan on Monday, August 31, 2026.

This performance is a new endeavor that fuses different musical cultures such as Japanese traditional instruments, orchestra, and beatboxing, proposing new value to the way film music is enjoyed.

What is Hollywood in Japan?

Hollywood in Japan is a music project started with the desire to 'create a place for young people to be active' and 'deliver a space where music can be enjoyed more casually.'

While film music is beloved worldwide, much of it is also full-scale music performed by orchestras. This project challenges new forms of expression based on that film music, unbound by genre or format.

Young musicians from different backgrounds come together and merge on one stage to create a musical experience like never before.
