Survey Reveals Key Disadvantages of Owning Property in Urbanization Control Areas

A survey conducted by real estate portal URUHOME, managed by Dream Planning Co., Ltd., highlights the significant challenges associated with 'Urbanization Control Areas.' Out of 353 respondents, 60.3% identified the 'inability to build' as the primary drawback, while 51.6% cited the 'difficulty of selling' the property. Other notable concerns include underdeveloped infrastructure, inheritance burdens, and the continuous cost of fixed asset taxes without functional land use. These findings underscore the high risk of such properties becoming 'negative assets' due to strict regulations and low market liquidity.
