What is 'Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World'?

It is a TV anime based on the hugely popular novel 'Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World' (MF Bunko J/KADOKAWA) by author Tappei Nagatsuki.

The 1st season, broadcast in 2016, became a huge hit both domestically and internationally. After two OVA theatrical releases and a new edited version, the 2nd season was broadcast from 2020, and the 3rd season (Assault Arc/Counterattack Arc) from 2024, both receiving great acclaim. The 4th season has been broadcasting since April 2026.

Subaru Natsuki, a boy suddenly summoned to another world on his way home from a convenience store.

In a different world where he has nothing to rely on, the only power the powerless boy obtained was the ability to rewind time upon death, 'Return by Death.'

To protect his loved ones and to reclaim the irreplaceable time that once was, the boy resists despair and confronts his harsh fate.
