DS Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Higashiosaka City, Osaka Prefecture, President: Yoko Hojo, hereinafter "DS Japan") will begin joint information dissemination with "Local Bridge Student Bureau," a student organization operated by ODK Solutions Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, President: Hidekazu Katsune, Securities Code: 3839).
As the first initiative, we will carry out information dissemination activities such as planning, interviewing, and article production for a special page within the "FC Osaka 'ACT NOW' Project," promoted by professional soccer team "FC Osaka," for which DS Japan serves as a top partner.
Overview of the Initiative
This initiative involves the student organization "Local Bridge Student Bureau" planning, interviewing, and writing articles for the special FC Osaka page (within the ACT NOW project) commissioned by DS Japan, thereby disseminating information through collaboration between companies and students.
- Web Media Operation: FC Osaka
- Article Planning, Interviewing, and Writing: Local Bridge Student Bureau (Operated by: ODK Solutions Co., Ltd.)
- Overall Article Design and Supervision: DS Japan
Through this initiative, students will gain practical experience in interviewing and writing about players involved in decarbonization efforts in Higashiosaka, while deepening their understanding of FC Osaka's activities towards realizing a decarbonized society.
Meanwhile, FC Osaka expects to be able to plan content incorporating the perspectives of young people, leading to strengthened brand communication towards youth.
As the first collaborative effort, students interviewed DS Japan, introducing the background of DS Japan becoming an FC Osaka partner and their initiatives to "entertain social issues" using the stadium as a stage.

Comments from Students
I am studying Modern Japanese Linguistics at the Faculty of Letters, Komaba, Nihon University, and aiming to obtain a teaching license. I am also involved in organizational management as the representative of the Kanto Branch of Local Bridge Student Bureau.
During high school, I worked on tourism and city promotion in "Comprehensive Studies" classes, collaborating with a local Japanese confectionery shop on product planning and creating Instagram content in English for tourist destinations. These experiences sparked my interest in regional issues, and I became motivated to not only promote the charm of a region but also to be involved in solving its problems, which led me to join Local Bridge Student Bureau in the winter of my first year of university.
In the FC Osaka "ACT NOW Project" this time, I want to utilize my unique student perspective to convey sustainability initiatives in an easy-to-understand manner to those who have little interest yet, aiming for communication that reaches the reader's heart and leads to behavioral change.

Comment from Koji Ueyama, Corporate Planning Office, DS Japan Co., Ltd.
I feel that the activities of Local Bridge Student Bureau are a valuable community where students can gain practical experience before entering the workforce and grow while interacting with regions and companies. As DS Japan, based in Higashiosaka, we believe it is highly significant as a social contribution activity to be involved in creating such opportunities for young people's challenges.
In this initiative, we hope that the young students will fully utilize their unique perspectives and sensibilities in article production. The angle of "how it will be conveyed to the younger generation," which might be overlooked by the company side, is extremely fresh and offers us many learning opportunities.
Through this collaboration, we hope to make FC Osaka's decarbonization efforts more easily understood by a wider audience, and we would be delighted if it also provides students with an opportunity to feel a connection with their region and society.
About the FC Osaka "ACT NOW" Project ~ The Relationship Between a Soccer Team and Decarbonization ~
FC Osaka, a J.League club with Higashiosaka City as its home town, is promoting initiatives to solve social issues in collaboration with government, companies, and the local community.
Amid concerns about the impact of recent climate change on the environment surrounding sports, FC Osaka is promoting the "ACT NOW" project, which promotes decarbonization actions that a soccer club can take.
In June 2025, as "FC Osaka 'ACT NOW on 0622' supported by DS Japan," they conducted an awareness-raising event with decarbonization as the theme for home game attendees, aiming to promote understanding and behavioral change.
