'Akane-banashi' is a popular manga currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (published by Shueisha), written by Yuki Suenaga and illustrated by Takamasa Moue. While centering on the traditional art of rakugo, it has captivated readers of all generations with its intense human drama and dynamic presentation. The serious competitions between rakugo performers, the human connections among colorful characters, and the overwhelming energy depicted in every performance have garnered significant attention, transcending the boundaries of a "rakugo manga" to become a major entertainment work.
