Thermae-Yu Shinjuku will host the 'Thermae-Yu x Italy Fair' starting June 3, 2026 (Wednesday), with the cooperation of the Italian Chamber of Commerce. *Note: Event dates are subject to change based on tenant scheduling.

Celebrating its 11th anniversary in 2026, Thermae-Yu Shinjuku is marking this milestone with a 'return to roots' theme, launching its first-ever international fair as a new challenge.

The name 'Thermae-Yu' is derived from the ancient Roman public bath culture of 'Thermae.' The Thermae culture, a place of healing and interaction where people bathed, ate, talked, and refreshed their mind and body, is one of the origins that resonates with the modern Thermae-Yu.

This Italy Fair reinterprets the 'roots of Thermae-Yu' in a modern style, showing respect to its Roman origins. Through baths, food, scent, sauna, relaxation, and merchandise, we offer an experience that makes you feel as if you are traveling through Italy while in the heart of the city.

The fair’s concept is 'Returning to Roots: An Urban Oasis Healing the Five Senses.' Special events are planned throughout the facility for guests to experience Italy through their five senses.

■ Italy Fair Special Project: 'Italy Through Scents' Special Scented Baths

During the Italy Fair, special scented baths themed after the culture and aromas of various Italian regions will be available on a rotating, limited-time basis. We have prepared special performances that can be enjoyed through sight, scent, and atmosphere, focusing on themes such as ancient Roman bathing culture, Mediterranean landscapes, and southern Italian fruits and herbs.

By incorporating the scent of lemons and Mediterranean aromatic herbs, we create a refreshing and open aroma healing space. Enjoy an extraordinary relaxing time as if traveling along the Mediterranean coast, along with the warmth unique to rock saunas.

■ Rock Sauna Loyly Event Limited: 'Italian Scented' Detox Water

During the Italy Fair, free 'Rosemary and Lemon Detox Water' will be distributed after the rock sauna Loyly events. Combining the refreshing lemon scent evocative of southern Italy with the herb-rich fragrance of rosemary, guests can refresh their bodies after the heat.

Stores including 'Aula' and 'Reset Laboratory' on the 3rd floor, and 'Ayutthaya' and 'Lituru' on B2F, will offer limited-time courses incorporating Mediterranean-inspired citrus scents such as lemon, orange, and bergamot, delivering a healing time to refresh both mind and body.
