Fumiko Kato, Vice President, Onwords Inc. / Representative Director, WAmazing Inc.
After graduating from Keio University's Faculty of Policy Management (SFC), she joined Recruit Co., Ltd. in 1998. She was primarily involved in new business development for online services, including the launch of "Jalan.net" and "Hot Pepper Gourmet." She then transferred to the "Jalan Research Center," which focuses on regional revitalization through tourism. She launched "Yuki Maji! 19" aiming to revitalize snow leisure. She has served on national and prefectural tourism expert committees and has been active in writing, lecturing, and research. In July 2016, she founded WAmazing Inc. with the goal of "Contributing to Japan's regions and tourism industry once again with truly scalable businesses!" On August 1, 2025, she assumed the position of Vice President at Onwords Inc.
Shinji Yoshikawa, Group Manager, Area Solution Group, Regional Collaboration Department, Onwords Inc.
Joined Recruit Lifestyle Co., Ltd. as a mid-career hire in 2013. In the travel business (Jalan), he worked as a sales representative for areas such as Matsuyama City and Dogo Onsen. In 2015, his efforts in creating accommodation plans for the "Dogo Onsenart" event and featuring it in the Jalan magazine contributed to winning the "Vibrant Region Award" in 2015, the first for Ehime Prefecture. In 2017, he worked as a freelancer, providing consulting for accommodation facilities such as Dogo Onsen and conducting on-site sales activities in Taiwan and South Korea. He joined WAmazing Inc. in July 2019. From the early stages of establishing the Regional Collaboration Department in 2020, he has been involved in regional tourism DX projects. Since August 2025, he has held his current position. Since 2025, he has served as a member of the "Kansai Tourism and Town Development Advisory Council" for the Kinki Transport Bureau.
