Tansoman GX and NTT West Strengthen Decarbonization Support in Collaboration with Local Governments

Tansoman GX Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Junji Fukumoto; hereinafter referred to as Tansoman GX) and NTT West Corporation (Headquarters: Osaka-shi, Osaka; President and Representative Director: Ryota Kitamura; hereinafter referred to as NTT West) have entered into a business partnership agreement to strengthen support for regional decarbonization promotion and mid-sized companies, etc., in collaboration with local governments. This partnership will focus on providing the energy-saving AI diagnostic service "Denki Check"* and supporting decarbonization within regions in cooperation with local governments.

*Denki Check (https://denkicheck.jp/): An AI-powered energy diagnostic service for corporations.

1. Background and Objectives

In pursuit of the government's goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, reducing CO2 emissions across entire regions and supporting the decarbonization of companies within these regions have become critical challenges for local governments nationwide.

Meanwhile, mid-sized companies and other businesses face challenges due to a lack of know-how and resources for calculating emissions and preparing reports. Consequently, local governments are also seeking effective support methods.

Through this initiative, companies will be able to visualize their potential for energy saving to reduce CO2 emissions and costs based on electricity usage information, and efficiently promote decarbonization management by implementing optimal energy-saving products and introducing renewable energy on a one-stop basis.

By combining Tansoman GX, which possesses expertise in GHG reduction and the AI energy-saving diagnostic service "Denki Check," with NTT West, which has extensive experience in consulting for numerous local governments in the GX domain, we will promote regional decarbonization efforts.

Through this partnership, both companies will promote the following initiatives, centered on collaboration with local governments:

- Decarbonization support for mid-sized companies and others within regions, led by local governments.

- Roadmap development for companies within regions in collaboration with local governments.

- Support for the implementation of specific solutions for companies within regions.
