1st Place: Hanwha Japan 35.1%

2nd Place: Canadian Solar 17.5%

3rd Place: AIKO Solar 16.6%

Summary of Survey Results

Compared to last year's ranking, Hanwha Japan's leap forward was a striking result. In the first half of 2025, Choshu Sangyo and Canadian Solar occupied the top positions, but Hanwha Japan's share rapidly expanded from autumn onwards. This is believed to be due to the introduction of a new panel with top-class power generation efficiency in Japan, released around the same time.

In the Tokyo market, AIKO Solar, which is compatible with the metropolitan government's additional subsidies, has been expanding its share for the second consecutive year and ranked third this time.

Around this time of year, contract timings tend to be postponed to assess subsidy trends. This year, requirements such as cybersecurity measures are included in the DR subsidy for storage batteries, which may also affect the selection of solar panel products, and future trends are drawing attention.
