ClariS, an artist name derived from the Latin word meaning 'bright, clean, and radiant,' is currently active internationally as a trio consisting of Clara, Ellie, and Anna. They recently completed their first solo tour under this new lineup, 'ClariS -03- 1st TOUR 2026 ~Trigger Anthem~,' in April 2026.

The new ClariS song 'Hitokoto,' serving as the opening theme for the TV anime 'Oni no Hanayome'—set to premiere on TOKYO MX and BS11 starting Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 24:30 JST—will be available for digital streaming across major platforms starting tonight, Sunday, July 5, 2026 at 0:00 JST.

'Oni no Hanayome' is a Japanese folklore-inspired Cinderella story that won the Grand Prize in the 'Comic C-More Everyone's Choice!! Digital Manga Awards 2023' in January 2023. The series has topped both novel and manga rankings for four consecutive months and achieved first place for two consecutive years in the 'Comic C-More Annual Rankings 2022 & 2023' (Girls' Manga category). It also ranked third in the '7th Everyone's Choice TSUTAYA Comic Awards,' with total series circulation exceeding 7.5 million copies.

'Hitokoto' is a poignant and elegant track that reflects the emotional journey of the protagonist, Yuzu, perfectly aligning with the anime's atmosphere. The harmonious blend of the trio's voices creates a warm yet fleeting sense of beauty. To commemorate the early release, a special campaign on LINE MUSIC has been launched, rewarding users who stream the song multiple times. Fans are encouraged to participate.

ClariS is an artist name derived from the Latin word meaning 'bright, clean, and radiant.' To date, they have released 30 singles, 4 mini-albums, 2 EPs, 7 original albums, and multiple best albums, actively contributing music to numerous anime series.

Their music was featured in a special issue of the anime music magazine 'LisAni!' as a bonus CD. This caught the attention of the producer of 'Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai,' who selected the then-unknown duo to perform the opening theme, leading to their major debut in October 2010 with the single 'irony' (OP for 'Ore no Imouto...'). Since then, they have maintained anonymity, citing academic priorities.

Their second single 'Connect,' released in February 2011, served as the opening theme for the hit anime 'Puella Magi Madoka Magica,' eventually surpassing 85 million streams and becoming one of ClariS' most iconic songs, beloved internationally. In June 2014, member Alice graduated following the release of their third album 'PARTY TIME.'

In November 2014, the music magazine 'LisAni!' Vol. 19 announced Karen as the new member, marking a new chapter for ClariS. In October 2020, they celebrated their 10th anniversary since major debut and made headlines by revealing their faces for the first time during a live-streamed concert. 2022 was a breakout year: they released their sixth full album 'Parfaitone,' the single 'ALIVE' (OP for 'Lycoris Recoil'), debuted their first variety show 'ClariS Shinsho,' and made their first appearance on 'THE FIRST TAKE,' performing 'Connect' and 'ALIVE,' trending on social media.
