Soy Planning Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Representative: Tomohiro Yoshida), which plans and produces high-quality ballet events, will hold the "Nicolas Le Riche, Clairemarie Osta Classical Ballet Special Workshop" featuring former Paris Opera Ballet Etoiles on Saturday, July 18th and Sunday, July 19th, in the rehearsal room of JMS Aster Plaza in Hiroshima.

Held on July 18th (Sat) & July 19th (Sun) at JMS Aster Plaza Rehearsal Room, Hiroshima.

Nicolas Le Riche and Clairemarie Osta, who will be the main instructors for this event, have both graced numerous brilliant stages as Etoiles representing the Paris Opera Ballet. After retiring from the Opera, Le Riche served as Artistic Director of the Royal Swedish Ballet for eight years until 2025, bringing significant growth to the company by nurturing stars such as Haruka Sasa (currently Principal at Berlin State Ballet) and Kentaro Mimori (currently Principal at Vienna State Ballet). Osta taught at the Paris Conservatory of Music and Dance before heading the ballet department at the Royal Swedish Academy. Both have an excellent track record in ballet education, having served as variation instructors for the Prix de Lausanne with their precise, clear, and attentive guidance, and also served as judges in 2021.

Clairemarie Osta

This workshop will offer classical ballet classes where participants can learn the basics one by one directly from Paris Opera Ballet Etoiles, Barre au sol (floor barre) classes to develop core strength and proper body usage, enhancing axial stability and flexibility, variation classes for beginner-intermediate levels to refine technique and expressiveness and improve the completeness of their dancing, and pointe classes for intermediate-advanced levels to aim for stable pointe work while learning correct posture and foot usage. The variation classes, where participants can receive direct instruction from Osta, who is particularly renowned for her detailed and affectionate variation coaching at the Prix de Lausanne, are a particularly valuable opportunity.
