SEGA Corporation is pleased to announce that the official title for the completely new Virtua Fighter series title previously announced as the 'New VIRTUA FIGHTER' Project has been decided as 'VIRTUA FIGHTER CROSSROADS', and it is scheduled for release in 2027.

The story adopts an omnibus format with four protagonists. Due to the Alma Pact concluded in 20XX, the city 'Villa Sapara', effectively controlled by the mafia, maintained a peculiar balance amidst its unique chaos.

In the midst of this, President Bato, advocating the correction of widening global economic disparities, entered the presidential election with an economic policy centered on turning the city's traditional underground fighting tournament 'Villa Fight Fest' into a major content event. The city was thrown into a maelstrom.

When the fates of four unrelated individuals converge in this city, the ghosts of a past that had been dormant for 20 years begin to stir, and the city's balance starts to crumble.

The trigger was a series of attacks on martial artists by a man nicknamed the 'Bakunawa Killer'.

The New Stage 'Villa Sapara' as Depicted by RGG Studio The story's stage is 'Villa Sapara', a fictional city located in Southeast Asia. This island, known as the 'City of Martial Arts', comprises several districts, including a walled central city, entertainment districts, and resort areas.

In addition to the main story, side stories and side quests will unfold, featuring related facilities. Connections with the people living there will also be depicted. The worldview of this title is shaped by 'Villa Sapara', a place where various intentions intersect, as depicted by RGG Studio.
