Major projects include the Tokyo 2020 award ceremonies, the basic concept for the utilization of the former Nara Prison, JR West's "Wesmo!", and ASO in Daikanyama. He also works as a contemporary artist, engaging in visual philosophical practices that question the value of silence, residue, and ambiguity in contemporary society, starting from Japanese aesthetics such as "ma" (emptiness/space) and impermanence. He has held large-scale solo exhibitions in Tokyo, Shanghai, Berlin, Washington D.C., and elsewhere.
