Mr. Kaku began his career at a regional bank and, after two secondments, transferred to the Fukuoka Stock Exchange in April 2025. As Head of Sales, he directly visits over 100 companies aspiring to list each year (including web meetings) to provide consultation on listing.
With a strong passion for supporting corporate growth, he has been working to create markets tailored to different growth stages since his secondment decision in April 2021. On December 16, 2024, he established the "Fukuoka PRO Market," a market for professionals. In addition to the emerging market Q-Board, he is dedicated to supporting companies in their step-up process.
Genichi Wakimoto, Director, Senior Executive Officer, Head of Investment Banking Division, Phillip Securities Japan Ltd.
Mr. Wakimoto has been involved in public offerings for 40 years. During this time, he spent 17 years handling stock listing practicalities in the underwriting departments of Daiwa Securities and Rakuten Securities. He also gained experience in listing practices working for venture companies in Japan and Singapore. Leveraging his experience in listing practices on Singapore's Catalist market, he was deeply involved in the establishment of the TOKYO AIM market (the predecessor to the TOKYO PRO Market) in 2010 and the transition to the TPM market in 2012, including rule-making, and has consistently focused on the development of this market. He is the only securities professional in the industry who knows the history of the TPM market. His current Investment Banking Division oversees lead managing underwriter duties for the TPM market, lead managing underwriter duties for general markets, acting as an agent for TOB (Take-over Bid) and corporate finance operations such as fundraising.

Born in Kitakyushu City in 1981. After working in corporate sales at a comprehensive OA equipment trading company, he gained industry experience at a local IT company. In 2014, he established Houyou Co., Ltd. (now 寶結 Co., Ltd.) in his hometown of Kokurakita-ku, Kitakyushu City, and became its Representative Director and President. Focusing on BOP (Business Operation Provider) to support customers' business operations from a practical standpoint, he promotes problem-solving for local communities and business transformation for companies and government agencies. In April 2026, the company successfully listed on the TOKYO PRO Market and Fukuoka PRO Market.

He retired as FVC President at the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders in 2022. In the same year, he was appointed Executive Partner of Strike Corporation.
