1. About the "Digital Citizen ID App"

The "Digital Citizen ID App" is a product from our company that uses digital certification technology to prove one's status as a citizen on a smartphone. After identity verification, a citizen ID is issued to the smartphone, and citizens can receive services such as citizen rates by simply reading a 2D code installed at facilities and presenting their citizen ID.

The main features are as follows:

It can be operated solely with a smartphone, requiring no expensive equipment or software for implementation.

It can prove citizen status in all scenarios, including in-person interactions and web services.

For unmanned facilities such as parking lots, users can present their citizen ID at the payment machine to utilize the service.

2. Details of the Demonstration Project

The project will be conducted in conjunction with the July event at "Hida Folk Village." Those who present their digital citizen ID will receive free admission and free parking.

On the day of the event, students from Nagoya University will participate as on-site support staff to verify user operability and service content.

For detailed information on the demonstration project, please refer to Takayama City's press release.
