Smile Zemi Adds 'Eiken Pre-1st Grade Course' to 'English Premium', Available from August 1st (Sat)

JustSystems Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Kyotaro Sekinada) will add an 'Eiken Pre-1st Grade Course' to the 'English Premium' optional program for its tablet-based education service 'Smile Zemi' (for elementary, junior high, and high school students), starting August 1st (Sat). In recent years, the use of external proficiency tests like Eiken has expanded rapidly in university entrance exams. In particular, the four-skill score (reading, listening, speaking, writing) at the Pre-1st grade level is directly linked to preferential treatment such as full-score conversion for common tests, additional points, and exemption from individual exams, making it a critical indicator for university admission. However, the Pre-1st grade level requires an understanding of social issues and logical communication skills, making self-study extremely difficult. Smile Zemi is launching this new 'Pre-1st Grade Course' to help students cultivate the necessary English skills for logical communication at home, using only a tablet.
