[Saitama City SOIP] The Small Things Awarded 'FY2026 Saitama City SOIP Business Support' by Saitama Sports Commission; Recruiting Sports Partners!

The Small Things Co., Ltd. has been awarded the 'FY2026 Saitama City SOIP Business Support' contract by the Saitama Sports Commission (SSC) and has been appointed as the 'Saitama City SOIP Advisor.' In this project, they will support the 'Saitama City SOIP Project,' which aims to commercialize new sports businesses and solve social issues through sports by facilitating business matching, co-creation, and business development support for companies, organizations, and universities. On May 27, 2026, they launched the project website and released the roadmap for this fiscal year. At the same time, they began recruiting 'Sports Partners,' who will play a central role in co-creation. Sports Partners are organizations or individuals with sports-related assets or know-how who will work on developing new businesses through co-creation with private companies. The application period is until June 12. The project will proceed through partner recruitment, solicitation of co-creation plans with business partners, matching, and project selection, followed by field tests from September to March of the following year. The Small Things will leverage its expertise in promoting open innovation in the sports field and project management to handle everything from business design to hands-on support. Leveraging its experience in developing new businesses and regional issue-solving projects starting from sports through co-creation with sports teams, local governments, companies, and regional organizations, the company will contribute to the realization of 'Saitama, the City of Sports.'
