Cyber Security Cloud has announced that its fully managed security service for public cloud environments, 'CloudFastener', has been adopted by Daiichi Sankyo.

'CloudFastener' is a fully managed security service where a dedicated Technical Account Manager (TAM) acts as an integrated member of the client's operation team, supporting cloud security operations.

To promote the use of the cloud in drug discovery research, Daiichi Sankyo established a Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) through collaboration between its research and IT departments. 'CloudFastener' was selected to secure the AWS environment and build a continuous operational structure.

As Daiichi Sankyo advanced the development of its security infrastructure in AWS, it faced challenges including responding to the large volume of security alerts, the need for high-level expertise required for prioritizing issues, and ensuring a continuous operational structure.

'CloudFastener' was highly evaluated for its ability to meet the company's need to maintain security operations not merely as an outsourced task, but as a proactive part of its core business.
