Japan boasts manga and anime culture that is admired worldwide.

At the same time, across Japan, there exist artisanal techniques and local traditional cultures nurtured over long histories.

However, in recent years, many traditional and artisanal cultures face challenges such as lack of successors and changing market conditions, making the transmission of their value to the future a major issue.

We believe it is no longer enough to simply 'preserve tradition'—we must create systems that ensure tradition continues to be chosen in the future.

Thus, by combining the globally beloved 'Captain Tsubasa' with Kanazawa foil culture, passed down for over 400 years, we aim to create a project where Japanese cultures resonate and generate new cultural assets.

This project is not merely about selling art pieces. It is a cultural creation initiative aiming to elevate the globally cherished manga culture and the time-honored Kanazawa foil tradition, to convey the charm of Japanese culture to the world, and to pass it on to future generations.

Hyuga Shoichi was introduced as a rival character with traits completely opposite to the protagonist Tsubasa. I hope people appreciate his unique appeal. Since he has a black-and-white image, I drew him with ink. This scene depicts Hyuga joining Juventus and challenging Italy's Serie A, so I hope viewers can feel the expression and atmosphere of 'Let's do this!' as he embarks on a new challenge.
