Crowdfunding Content

'Slay the Spire: The Board Game' (hereinafter referred to as "Base Set") is a board game based on the popular digital game 'Slay the Spire' (available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, etc.). It has garnered strong support from both digital game fans and board game fans in Japan, with domestic series sales exceeding 200 million yen.

This time, as an expansion set, the popular mod 'Downfall' from the original digital game has been adapted into a board game. Players can enjoy a reverse perspective, controlling the bosses who were enemies in the base set—"Slime Boss," "Guardian," and "Hexaghost"—as they descend the tower. Conversely, the playable characters from the base set—"Ironclad," "Silent," "Defect," and "Watcher"—will now stand as bosses.

Purpose of Crowdfunding

The funds raised will be used for royalties based on discussions with overseas publishers, manufacturing costs, Japanese translation fees, and shipping costs. As it is a language-dependent board game, releasing a Japanese edition aims to allow more people to enjoy it.

To meet the diverse needs of supporters, six different plans have been prepared. Some plans include the collector's edition of the base set, which had previously sold out or was out of stock.
