Sapporo Grand Hotel's Annual Summer Hit Event "Curry Pan by the Elegant Chefs" Returns: July 1 (Wed) – August 31 (Mon), 2026

Sapporo Grand Hotel (Sapporo Chuo-ku, General Manager: Takanori Nagase), operated by Gran Vista Hotel & Resort Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Yukuo Arai), will launch its annual summer favorite event "Curry Pan by the Elegant Chefs" from July 1 (Wed), 2026, at The Bakery & Pastry on the 1st floor of the East Wing.

Featuring original curry pans crafted by the Executive Chef and the head chefs of Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisines, this year’s lineup includes spicy creations and dishes highlighting the finest Hokkaido ingredients. Each chef’s unique culinary expertise and creativity shine through in these special curry pans. A total of six varieties will be available over the two-month period (July and August), allowing guests to enjoy tasting the chefs’ most passionate creations. During the event, guests can participate in the "Curry Pan No. 1 Decision Battle," voting for their favorite. Additionally, the "Curry Pan Stamp Rally Campaign" offers a chance to win a ¥3,000 hotel dining voucher with the purchase of six eligible items.

Sapporo Grand Hotel

Established in 1934 under the initiative of the late Prince Chichibu as a reception hall for political and financial leaders and a social hub for citizens, Sapporo Grand Hotel has served as Hokkaido’s first full-scale Western-style hotel and a gateway to Western culture. In May 1951, it became Hokkaido’s first government-registered international tourist hotel. In June 1978, it made history again by introducing Japan’s first female bellperson.
