About Coach Ryoichi Adachi: Born January 7, 1988, in Gunma Prefecture. After graduating from Haruna High School in Gunma, Jobu University, and Toshiba, he was the first draft pick for the Orix Buffaloes in 2011. He became a regular shortstop in his second professional year in 2013. Although diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in 2016, he continued to play while managing the illness, contributing to the team's three consecutive Pacific League championships from 2021.
