GIXY Establishes New CBO Role to Accelerate Growth in Data-Informed Business

GIXY Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Tomohiro Amino; hereinafter referred to as "the Company") is pleased to announce the establishment of the Chief Business Officer (CBO) position, effective July 1, 2026. Shintaro Hanatani, Representative Director and COO, will assume this role, and Masashi Yabe will be appointed as Senior Executive Officer.

In recent years, the need for companies to utilize data and AI has expanded beyond improving individual operations to encompass large-scale initiatives involving business and operational transformation. Through this organizational change, the Company aims to enhance its responsiveness to these needs, strengthen its integrated support system spanning data analysis, consulting, and system implementation, and achieve further business growth.

Strengthening Management Structure to Accelerate Growth in Data-Informed Business The Company's purpose is to "make all decisions Data-Informed," and it supports companies in advancing their decision-making and achieving business growth through customer understanding using data, as well as transforming systems and organizations.

In recent years, as expectations for data and AI utilization by companies have grown, the areas supported by the Company have also evolved from improving individual measures to sophisticated and large-scale business and operational transformations for entire companies. In light of these environmental changes, the management structure has been strengthened to further accelerate business expansion.

[Establishment of Chief Business Officer (CBO)]

To further accelerate the creation of large-scale projects in the Data-Informed business, the Company has established the position of Chief Business Officer (CBO), which will be concurrently held by Representative Director and COO Shintaro Hanatani.

Mr. Hanatani has been instrumental in developing long-term transformation projects with large corporations. As CBO, he will lead the creation of large-scale projects related to business and operational transformation using data and AI, and the development of new collaborative opportunities with client companies, driving the Company's business growth.

[Appointment of Senior Executive Officer]

Masashi Yabe has been responsible for business and organizational operations as Deputy General Manager of the Data-Informed Business Division and Leader of the Business Analytics and Optimization (BA&O) Division.

He will now assume the position of Senior Executive Officer and concurrently serve as the new Leader of the Business Implementation (BI) Division. Moving forward, he will strengthen the collaboration between BA&O and BI, expanding the system that can provide integrated data analysis, consulting, and system implementation to support client company transformations. Furthermore, by deploying the knowledge and assets gained from data and AI utilization in each project, he will work to improve productivity and delivered value.
