Butter Mochi originated in Shanghai, China, and is known as "Shanghai Butter Mochi." It began appearing in cafes in Seoul, South Korea, around the end of 2025, and by 2026, it had rapidly spread through social media and other channels, becoming a trending dessert in Korea.

The key ingredient is the highest quality "Saga Prefecture Hiyoku Mochi Flour," carefully made using the traditional *dōzuki* (whole-grain milling) method.

In fact, this mochi flour is more than 7 times more expensive than the domestic wheat used in our store.
