Carmate Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; President: Masaru Tokuda) has launched a new tool, the "Purple Magic Wheel Exclusive Cloth," from its long-selling wheel cleaner "Purple Magic" series, in preparation for the spring car wash season. [Purple Magic Wheel Exclusive Cloth]

Brake dust and oil stains wiped off can be removed with just water. A specially processed cloth that can be used repeatedly with less dirt residue.

Wheels, which are easily soiled by brake dust, are washed with brushes or sponges, and cloths are used to clean fine details. However, cloths stained black with brake dust and oil are difficult to clean even after washing, and using them in that state can actually spread the dirt. The "Purple Magic Wheel Exclusive Cloth" has been specially processed to allow dirt adhering to the cloth to be removed with just water, solving this problem.

Features

1) Reset cloth dirt with water. Dedicated cloth that can be used repeatedly. Brake dust contains oil, so dirt adhering to the cloth cannot be completely removed by washing and accumulates with each use.

This product uses a microfiber cloth treated with a special process called "Reset Magic" that makes oil stains easy to separate from the fibers, allowing stubborn dirt on the cloth to be removed with just water. With less dirt residue, it can be used repeatedly, enabling wheel washing in a consistently clean state. Recommended for washing imported cars with a lot of brake dust.

2) One cloth for complete wheel cleaning and wiping. Can also be used to wipe off water droplets after wheel cleaning. Recommended for reducing water spots and wiping before wheel coating.

3) Cloth allows cleaning of fine details. The flexible nature of the cloth allows it to change shape, removing dirt from fine details such as lug nut holes, corners, and around valves.

4) Combine with wheel cleaner to tackle stubborn dirt. For stubborn dirt that cannot be removed with water alone, using a neutral shampoo or wheel cleaner* will improve cleaning power.

*Using anything other than neutral products may reduce the performance of the cloth.

5) Optimal size design for wheel washing. Designed at an optimal size (approx. 30cm x 30cm) for wheel washing, making it easy to handle and less likely to touch the ground.

With the special "Reset Magic" process, oil is lifted and removed, allowing the cloth's dirt to be reset cleanly with just water.

Comparison with the same fabric without processing. The unprocessed fabric still has oil stains remaining on the cloth after washing with water.

From wiping off dirt like brake dust to wiping off water droplets, one cloth does it all.

Being a cloth, it's easy to wipe off dirt from both surfaces and fine details.

The "Super Absorbent Zero Towel" series, which launched S, M, and L sizes in March 2025, has been well-received for its high absorbency, which allows it to wipe away water droplets without leaving any residue by simply placing it on the car body and pulling, as well as its soft texture that is gentle on the body. However, some customers requested a smaller size that is easier to wring.
