NTT-ME Corporation (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takashi Ikeda; hereinafter "NTT-ME") will start supplying renewable energy (hereinafter "renewable energy") power via a PPA model for the first time in Zushi City, Kanagawa Prefecture, starting April 1, 2026, to contribute to the realization of the "Challenge! Zushi Carbon Neutral" initiative promoted by the city.
This will also be the first time NTT-ME has supplied renewable energy power using a PPA model.

## Overview of this project
On January 31, 2022, Zushi City declared the "Challenge! Zushi Carbon Neutral 2050" initiative, aiming for net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 through the united efforts of its citizens and businesses.

As one of the initiatives to achieve the city's goal, this project will introduce solar power generation facilities and storage batteries at Zushi Municipal Zushi Elementary School using a PPA model. This will contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by utilizing renewable energy and improving community resilience by securing power during disasters.

The renewable energy generated by the solar power facilities installed in this project will be used at Zushi Elementary School, as well as at two other facilities on the same site: the Zushi Culture Plaza Hall and the Citizen Exchange Center. As a result, the greenhouse gas emission reduction effect is estimated to be approximately 35 tons annually and approximately 692 tons over 20 years across the three facilities.

In addition, by installing emergency outlets in the gymnasium and school building, which serve as evacuation shelters, it will be possible to charge communication terminals such as PCs and smartphones and secure power for critical equipment, leading to improved resilience during disasters.

## Overview of introduced facilities
- Business Operator: NTT-ME Corporation
- Power Supply Destination: Zushi Elementary School and 2 other facilities
- Estimated Annual Power Generation: Approx. 79,000 kWh
- Generation Facility Capacity: 64.9 kW
- Storage Battery Capacity: 9.8 kWh
