This kitchen is also attractive for its furniture-like atmosphere that highlights the texture of wood.

This is an expansion of the series, following the framed design launched in July 2025.

Utilizing Clear, Knot-Free Quarter-Cut Wood

Quarter-cut wood refers to wood with parallel vertical grain patterns, cut perpendicular to the growth rings. This luxurious material reduces the risk of warping and cracking and provides a clean impression.

We have selected wood with dense grain, considering its excellent durability and beautiful finish. The flat door allows you to enjoy the expansive, knot-free grain of hinoki cypress across a wide, unobstructed surface.

Finish that Preserves the Natural Texture of Hinoki Cypress

A special finish that combines the transparency of an unfinished look with the ease of maintenance of a special urethane coating. It can be used with confidence against water and stains.

Furthermore, by finishing it with a coating (clear white color) that enhances the natural hue of hinoki cypress, the kitchen gains a clean impression and harmonizes with homes with a Japanese aesthetic.

Simple and Minimalist Design

While featuring "hinoki cypress," a domestic wood that has long supported shrine and temple architecture, as the star material, we have achieved a simple and minimalist design using the highly versatile "flat door."
