Purpose of this Release

Imajinna, a company with over 3,000 corporate branding support achievements, held the "Inner Branding Seminar for Managers" on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Yamanashi Plaza in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, targeting managers and executives in the prefecture. This release widely discloses the unique methods of "Contributive EQ" and "Moral Education Based on Latest Brain Science," which received a tremendous response at the seminar and are designed to prevent the turnover of young talent and dramatically improve organizational productivity.

Social Background and Challenges: "Labor Shortage" and "White-Collar Turnover" Unstoppable by Wage Hikes Alone

Currently, regional economies are facing an unprecedented crisis. Recent surveys show that the sense of full-time employee shortage in Yamanashi Prefecture has reached 48.5%, with over 90% of construction companies suffering from chronic labor shortages. Many companies are struggling to secure personnel through "wage increases," but regional small and medium-sized enterprises are becoming increasingly exhausted in competition with large corporations that have greater capital power, failing to achieve a fundamental solution. Even more serious are the "declining motivation of young employees" and "lack of morals" within companies.

The current state of labor psychology in Japan, as indicated by various data, is as follows:

Approximately 83% of young employees respond that they "do not want to become managers in the future."

In terms of empathetic behavior towards others, with the question "Have you helped someone recently?", Japan ranks "last" among 142 countries (only 12%).

The spread of fake news due to the proliferation of social media, etc. (ranked 1st in global risks), and the negative impact of inflated needs for approval on underdeveloped brains (increasing reports of depression).

To prevent "white-collar turnover," where young employees leave because they "have no complaints but see no future," superficial improvements in working conditions are no longer sufficient. A fundamental change in awareness, instilling the essential meaning (empathetic value) of "how one's work contributes to society" throughout the organization via corporate philosophy, has become an urgent issue.

Seminar Content: A Blueprint for a "Winning Organization" Derived from Brain Science and Data

At the seminar on June 29, Yoshiki Sekino, President and CEO of Imajinna, presented and explained methods for organizational transformation through a scientific approach that excludes mere moralizing.

1. Cultivating "Contributive EQ" That Governs 90% of Success

People are not motivated by IQ (intelligence) or business skills alone. As research from Harvard University and others shows, 90% of business success is determined by EQ (self-understanding, self-control, understanding others, and a willingness to leverage each other). In the medical field as well, it has been proven that doctors with low EQ have higher rates of litigation due to misdiagnosis and lower cure rates. Imajinna explained the mechanism by which fostering "contributive morals," which involves growing oneself and offering to others, based on the theory from organizational psychology research at the University of Pennsylvania that "Givers succeed," ultimately doubles the organization's behavioral output and quintuples its results.

2. Media and Information Literacy Education That Breaks the Brain's "Premises"

The human brain has a strong cognitive bias where it only sees "what it wants to see." Media literacy education, which involves letting go of established "premises" such as past successes and pride, and discerning information correctly with "intellectual humility" by acknowledging one's own ignorance, is the absolute foundation for growth as a working adult.

3. "Visualization" and Systematization Through Cambridge University Assessment

Instead of relying on intuition for the permeation of philosophy and improvement of EQ, they introduced the "Cambridge University Psychological Trait Analysis (190 questions)," which boasts an accuracy rate almost identical to that of top British psychiatrists. They disclosed the latest method of completely digitizing each employee's thinking tendencies, EQ scores, and compatibility with their superiors, and constructing a personalized one-year growth roadmap. Since humans forget 74% of what they learn within a day, the importance of "systematization" that incorporates these into daily work was emphasized.

Future Outlook: A Movement for "Human Capital Management" Starting in Yamanashi Prefecture

Many managers who attended the seminar responded enthusiastically, saying, "I realized the fundamental mistakes in my company's management" and "I will change how I communicate our philosophy starting tomorrow."

With the Kofu seminar as a catalyst, Imajinna will further strongly promote human capital management throughout Yamanashi Prefecture. From Monday, July 20, 2026, to Thursday, July 23, 2026, the "U24 Yamanashi Governor's Ambassador 'Contributive EQ' Camp" will be held at "Silk Friendy" in Chuo City, Yamanashi Prefecture, targeting working adults and students aged 24 and under. On the final day, July 23, Governor Kōtarō Nagasaki of Yamanashi Prefecture himself will attend, and "appreciation certificates" will be awarded directly to the participating next-generation leaders.

Imajinna will continue to create "reasons for regional companies to be chosen" by utilizing world-class assessments and its unique inner branding theory, thereby fully contributing to the growth of Japanese society and regional revitalization.
