NTT Docomo to Host Special Session at Ipros AI 2026 Summer on New Business Creation and AI Co-creation

Growing attention is focused on new business creation and open innovation within large enterprises. However, a common challenge many companies face is how to nurture businesses originating from within and how to connect collaboration with startups to actual business and operational transformation.

In this context, NTT Docomo is advancing its internal new business creation program, 'docomo STARTUP,' while simultaneously pushing for co-creation with spin-off companies and leveraging AI.

Ipros Corporation will hold a lecture on July 29, 2026 (Wed), at 'Ipros AI 2026 Summer,' featuring Ms. Riko Osawa and Ms. Fumi Yamagata from the Business Development Office of NTT Docomo's Corporate Strategy Department.

This session will cover the 'docomo STARTUP' initiative and its AI applications, along with case studies of co-creation with SUPERNOVA, a company that spun out in April 2024. The speakers will introduce NTT Docomo's internal DX efforts and implementation effects using SUPERNOVA’s corporate AI service, 'Stella AI,' as well as other notable AI-related spin-off companies. This 30-minute session offers a realistic look at how large enterprises generate new businesses, advance co-creation with spin-offs, and transform operations through AI.
