Osaka-based Footwear Maker Announces Results of Field Tests for 'MARINE CORE' Insole in Hotels, Nursing Homes, and Hospitals

Adonis Co., Ltd. (Location: 2-8-22 Daikoku, Naniwa-ku, Osaka; Representative Director: Naomi Matsui), a company with approximately 60 years of experience in manufacturing women's shoes and the creator of the HILLS AVENUE series, has announced the results of field tests for its functional insole 'MARINE CORE', designed to balance the body and gait from the feet up. The tests were conducted between February and April 2026 at locations including Yumoto 'Hananoi' Super Hotel Osaka Natural Hot Spring, Super Court JR Nara Station, and the Nankai Hospital Rehabilitation Department. In this study, participants wore MARINE CORE to evaluate walking sensation, ease of pushing off, stability of posture and core, foot fatigue, and changes in foot pressure distribution. Feedback was collected from 22 participants, with many reporting improvements in 'ease of walking,' 'ease of pushing off,' 'stability of posture/core,' and 'reduction in foot fatigue.' Additionally, comparisons of foot pressure distribution images confirmed changes before and after wearing the product. Moving forward, Adonis Co., Ltd. plans to use this feedback to further refine MARINE CORE and will proceed with initiatives for commercialization and widespread adoption, including consultations for corporate and facility trials, and recruitment of sales agents and retail partners.
