[Industry First JAS-Certified] 'Obaachan Pan' Monitor Sales Start! High Ratings in Care Facility Trials, Targeting General Launch in Mid-August

## From Certification to Delivery

On November 28, 2025, we became the first in the bread industry to receive the 'JAS Standard for Swallowing-Friendly Food' (Hardness Level 1: Easy to Chew). While our previous announcement focused on the research and certification achievement, we are now taking the step to deliver 'Obaachan Pan' directly to our customers. Conceived as 'bread you'd want to buy for your own grandmother,' Obaachan Pan took three years from development to certification. We meticulously focus on ease of chewing, dissolution, and swallowing, with each piece handcrafted by artisans rather than relying on machinery.

## Care Facility Trials: 70% Rate it 'Easy to Eat'!

Prior to the general launch, we conducted two trials at elderly care facilities in Shinagawa Ward to reflect real-world feedback and further enhance product safety.

- Difficult to chew: 2 (approx. 5.9%)
- No answer: 1 (approx. 2.9%)

The fact that approximately 70% of participants felt the 'ease of eating' confirmed the results of our three-year pursuit of 'ease of chewing, dissolution, and swallowing' in a practical setting. With this conviction, we are now launching monitor sales online.
