"SEVENTEEN Special" to be Broadcast on April 10th (Fri), etc.! Jun's Film "The Fruit of Madness" to Premiere in Japan! CS Satellite Theater

CS Satellite Theater will be broadcasting a special feature on programs starring SEVENTEEN, the 13-member group popular worldwide, in April 2026.

The film "The Fruit of Madness," in which Jun appeared as a child actor, will be broadcast for the first time in Japan. Attention will be focused on the moving story starring Eason Chan and Jun's performance, for which he received the Best New Performer award at the 3rd Hong Kong Film Directors' Guild Annual Awards. The reality program "SEVENTEEN PROJECT～Debut Mission" chronicles the journey of SEVENTEEN before their debut in Korea in 2015. SEVENTEEN member Jun, who boasts global popularity, appeared in this film during his child actor days! Jun was nominated for Best New Performer at the 27th Hong Kong Film Awards for his role in this work, for which he also won the Best New Performer award at the 3rd Hong Kong Film Directors' Guild Annual Awards.

Starring Eason Chan from Hong Kong, who was immensely popular as a top singer at the time. He portrays a lonely gangster and delicately and vividly embodies the sensitive emotions as he connects with the boy played by Jun, who shares a similar background. The film also features George Lam and Eric Tsang in supporting roles, presenting a robust and moving drama that evokes the spirit of classic Hong Kong cinema.

【Synopsis】 Chen (Eason Chan), a lonely man living in the underworld, infiltrates an elementary school as a janitor to capture the son of his boss's killer as a hostage. There, he is spotted by the withdrawn and silent boy Lam (Jun), to whom he asks to keep their encounter a secret, claiming to be a police officer conducting a confidential investigation.
