Limited Time Offer: Uji Matcha Canele (380 yen)

Matsui no Canele (operated by Matsui Seika Co., Ltd., Representative Director: Shun Matsui, Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo), a canele specialty store in Hatchobori, Tokyo, will hold its first pop-up event for seven days from Friday, May 8, 2026, to Thursday, May 14, 2026, at "Canvas βase" (Canvas Base), a trial shop located next to the ticket gate of Tokyu Corporation Musashi-Kosugi Station. During this period, caneles baked fresh every morning at the Hatchobori main store will be sold. The limited-edition "Uji Matcha Canele" will also be available. A lineup of treats suitable for home snacking or as souvenirs will be prepared for the residents of the Musashi-Kosugi area, where many high-rise condominiums are located.

First Pop-up Store at Musashi-Kosugi Station, 7-Day Limited Event

Matsui no Canele, which has surpassed a cumulative sales of 100,000 units, is making its first foray into the Musashi-Kosugi area.

"Canvas βase," the venue for the pop-up, is a trial shop located next to the ticket gate of Tokyu Corporation Musashi-Kosugi Station (former periodic pass sales counter site). Freshly baked caneles will be delivered to the residents of the Musashi-Kosugi area from a location right next to the station gate, which is used by approximately 180,000 people daily.

Four types of caneles will be sold (from 330 yen).

Freshly Baked Caneles from Hatchobori Delivered on the Same Day, Every Morning

At Matsui no Canele, believing that "freshly baked is the best," caneles baked on the same morning at the Hatchobori main store will be brought and sold at "Canvas βase" in Musashi-Kosugi throughout the event period.

The caneles feature a crispy, fragrant exterior and a moist interior infused with rum and vanilla. Approximately 640 units are planned for sale daily, and sales will end once sold out.

Limited Edition "Uji Matcha Canele" on Sale

During the event, a limited-edition flavor, "Uji Matcha Canele," will be sold. This delicacy uses high-quality Uji matcha from Kyoto, layering the deep aroma and moderate bitterness of matcha into the canele dough.

Hatchobori's Freshly Baked Caneles, Now in Musashi-Kosugi

Matsui no Canele is a canele specialty store that opened in Hatchobori, Tokyo, in June 2025. It is also adopted by the luxury hotel "1 Hotel Tokyo" and sold at its Hatchobori main store and over 20 other retailers nationwide, with cumulative sales exceeding 100,000 units.

The store is located in an alley in Hatchobori, Chuo-ku.

Catering to Musashi-Kosugi Area Residents' Souvenir and Take-Home Needs

The area around Musashi-Kosugi Station has many dual-income households and high-rise condominium residents, indicating a high demand for quality snacks for home and souvenirs for neighbors. Caneles will be available for individual purchase, making them easy to pick up as a souvenir after work.
