Celebrating the 2nd Anniversary with 'Shibuya Natsukashi Thanksgiving Festival' at Shibuya Sakura Stage

Tokyu Land Corporation (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director and President: Akihiro Tanaka, hereinafter 'Tokyu Land') will hold the 'Shibuya Natsukashi Thanksgiving Festival,' an event commemorating the 2nd anniversary of the opening of 'Shibuya Sakura Stage' (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), starting from July 17, 2026 (Fri).

Shibuya Sakura Stage has attracted approximately 30 million visitors in its first year and approximately 40 million visitors in its second year, totaling approximately 70 million visitors since its opening, mainly from local residents, business people, and tourists from Japan and abroad. To commemorate the 2nd anniversary, various projects in collaboration with the local community and tenants will be implemented to express gratitude for their continued patronage.

The event will feature a 'Kodomo Natsumatsuri' (Children's Summer Festival) on July 17 (Fri) with bon odori (traditional dance) and a karaoke contest, as well as a collaboration event with Square Enix titled 'Final Fantasy XIV: Light of the Natsukashi Festival 2026 in Shibuya Sakura Stage' (Aug 1 (Sat) ~ 2 (Sun)), an immersive balloon art event 'KAWAII FRIENDS PUKA PUKA PARK' (Aug 13 (Thu) ~ 25 (Tue)) in collaboration with Asobi System Corporation, and 'KASHIMA ANTLERS NEXT TEN' by Kashima Antlers, the J1 League champions of the previous season. Enjoy this event, created in collaboration with the local community and tenants, both indoors and outdoors.

Tokyu Land is engaged in urban development to further enhance the appeal of the Shibuya area, which is popular both domestically and internationally. In the field of 'urban tourism,' we aim to create lively areas by holding events that attract visitors to the Shibuya area, utilizing experience-based content and event spaces as urban media.

Event Overview

CTIS x Shibuya Station Front Kyoeikai Kodomo Natsumatsuri

CTIS Kindergarten Shibuya and Shibuya Station Front Kyoeikai will host a summer festival with local ties, with the cooperation of Tokyu Land and the University of Tokyo Shibuya Machizukuri Seminar. The stage program will feature a kids' dance by CTIS Kindergarten Shibuya, followed by a student stage by Nihon Keizai University and Aoyama Gakuin University, a karaoke contest, and an appearance by Donald from McDonald's Shibuya Sakura Stage store, offering content that can be enjoyed by a wide range of generations. In the evening, there will also be children's bon odori and bon odori by the Shibuya City Women's Organization Liaison Council.

As a festival stall, there will be yo-yo fishing, super ball scooping, watermelon hitting, fan-making experience, and paper windmill-making experience (with the cooperation of the Shibuya City Women's Organization Liaison Council), as well as a food truck and shaved ice. Anyone can visit and view the event.

Final Fantasy XIV: Light of the Natsukashi Festival 2026 in Shibuya Sakura Stage

A collaboration event with Square Enix Corporation, which has offices and stores at Shibuya Sakura Stage, will be held centered around the 3rd floor 'BLOOM GATE' of SHIBUYA Side.

Centered around August 1 (Sat) and 2 (Sun), we will offer a free trial of the puzzle-solving game 'Bridge to Two Worlds' (a re-enactment of last year's event) that can be enjoyed by walking around the facility, a live broadcast to commemorate the release of the Nintendo Switch™ version 2 of 'Final Fantasy XIV' (August 1 (Sat) 15:00~), a takeout food cafe 'Eorzea Cafe,' a pop-up shop featuring collaboration items that were sold at JR Kyoto Station in March this year, as well as a test play of 'Ancient Alrago's Control Panel (Activation Test)' where two people can operate a giant controller and 'Dancing Green and Let's Dance! (Beta Version)' where you can enjoy activities that sync with your movements.

In addition, the official goods shop 'Square Enix Garden' on the 3rd floor of Shibuya Sakura Stage will offer advance sales of new official goods for 'Final Fantasy XIV.' Furthermore, during the period (August 1~6), special stickers will be distributed at target restaurants within Shibuya Sakura Stage, allowing you to enjoy the entire facility.

KAWAII FRIENDS PUKA PUKA PARK

A new sensory experience balloon park 'KAWAII FRIENDS PUKA PUKA PARK,' organized by Asobi System Corporation and planned and produced by KIRINZI inc., will open.

At the venue, official characters from the idol project KAWAII LAB., including 'Fruits-chan' from FRUITS ZIPPER, will appear, offering content that can be enjoyed with your whole body, such as a ball pool and a giant ball roller. In addition, a cafe where you can enjoy the worldview and a store where you can purchase goods will also be set up.

During the day, it will be a play park where children can play safely, and at night, it will transform into a photogenic space where adults can also enjoy themselves, offering different expressions depending on the time of day. It can be enjoyed by people of all ages, from small children to adults.
