Tokyo Skytree Town(R)'s Golden Week Event

Tokyo Skytree Town will be holding various events from April leading up to and during the Golden Week period.

◆ The Taiwan Festival, held for the 4th time. This year, a collaboration with Tainan City, an ancient capital in southern Taiwan.

"Taiwan Festival in Tokyo Skytree Town(R) 2026 - Tainan Lantern Festival -" will be held from Saturday, April 4th to Sunday, May 31st. The Taiwan Festival has become a firmly established popular Golden Week event. In addition to the familiar "Large Fried Chicken" and exquisite Taiwanese gourmet foods like "Xiao Long Bao," Tainan's unique dishes such as "Tainan Danzai Noodles (Tainan Tan-tsu Mein)" and "Tainan Shrimp Rice (Tainan Sha-ren Fan)" will be featured.

◆ Tokyo Skytree Town(R) Koinobori Festival 2026

Approximately 1,000 carp streamers will be flown in various locations within Tokyo Skytree Town, allowing you to see a school of carp streamers. Among the carp streamers being flown, Sumida Aquarium's "Chinanago-bori" (Eel Garden Eel streamers) will also appear!

◆ Events enjoyable for children and adults alike will also be held!!

There will be workshops related to "Koinobori," limited-time events such as Sumida Aquarium's "Sumida Seal Fan Appreciation Festival," the "Chiikawa Pocket POP UP STORE" & Chi-Poke 1st Anniversary Event, and many other events to enjoy all day long!

This is the 4th time holding this popular event, "Taiwan Festival in Tokyo Skytree Town(R) 2026 - Tainan Lantern Festival -". This time, it's a collaboration with Tainan City, an ancient capital in southern Taiwan. Special menus using fruits from Tainan, known as one of its leading fruit-producing regions, will be available. In addition to familiar Taiwanese night market gourmet foods, you can enjoy local flavors with the "Tainan Set," where you can enjoy Tainan's representative local gourmet foods all at once, and "Tainan Shrimp Rice (Tainan Sha-ren Fan)," which features fragrant stir-fried small shrimp with a rich and savory special sauce generously poured over rice. The venue will be spectacularly decorated with Tainan lanterns sourced from the region, with the cooperation of Tainan City, Taiwan. In the venue's merchandise corner, you'll find a wide selection of Taiwanese sweets and miscellaneous goods. There will also be a Taiwanese massage experience booth to help you relax and unwind.
