The dog-friendly campsite 'KAL Auto Garden' (Kumagaya City, Saitama Prefecture) will hold a limited-time accommodation plan called 'Summer Night Camp' from July 1st (Wed) to August 31st (Mon), 2026, allowing guests to check in from the evening to enjoy cool nights with their dogs. Approximately 100 mist nozzles have been installed throughout the facility. Guests will be welcomed by enough mist to get completely soaked upon check-in, allowing both people and dogs to return to their childlike selves and enjoy the cooling mist while avoiding the midday heat.

Kumagaya City, Saitama Prefecture, where our facility is located, is famous for being one of the hottest cities in Japan. In summer, it is often a season that pet owners find scary to go out in due to concerns about heatstroke in their dogs. However, we thought: 'If it's the hottest place, wouldn't it be the best place for water play?' This is a brand new summer proposal that doesn't just avoid the heat but uses it as a spice for fun.

■ Recreating the 'Soaked' Smiles of That Day

Those summer evenings of childhood, playing obsessively while completely soaked from splashing each other with hose water. We want to let our dogs and children experience that innocent time, which we adults tend to forget. This plan adopts 'check-in after 16:00' to avoid the hottest hours of the day.

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by an 'Excessive!? Soaked Mist' that is so refreshing it will make you laugh. From the area near the management office to the vast 200-tsubo tile-chip dog run, a total of approximately 100 mist nozzles release a large volume of mist, allowing dogs, children, and adults to get soaked and enjoy the cool evening together.

1. Completely Avoid the Heat! A 'Protective' and Relaxed Time Schedule
We have shifted the standard check-in time (13:00–16:30) to 16:00–18:00 to completely avoid the intense midday heat. Furthermore, check-out has been extended from the usual 10:30 to 11:00, creating a 'protective' schedule that allows you to spend a slow, cool morning with your dog.

2. Safety First! A 'Safe Soaked Experience' with No Bears or River Accidents
When camping in nature, wildlife and water accidents are concerns. However, there are no dangerous wild bears in the vicinity of KAL Auto Garden. Also, since there is no river on the premises, the risk of children or dogs being swept away is zero. You can fully enjoy the 'best water play (soaked experience)' safely with a large volume of mist, even without a river.

3. One Hour from the City Center! A Miraculous Location Where Dogs Won't Get Motion Sickness
Located just 15 minutes by car from the Higashimatsuyama IC on the Kan-Etsu Expressway. Since there is no need to drive up winding mountain roads, there is no need to worry about motion sickness for dogs or small children.
