[Japan CLT Technology Research Institute] Two member companies launch business partnership to promote eco-friendly garage-equipped rental housing

Premium Garage House, a consolidated subsidiary of Phil Company, and Yamaura have launched a business partnership aimed at promoting eco-friendly rental housing with garages that utilizes domestically produced CLT. For the first project under this partnership, the companies are planning construction based on the new specifications for CLT panel construction (Specification B) announced by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism on March 31, 2025. The Japan CLT Technology Research Institute will provide technical support, including structural analysis of wood structures and metal joints. Life Design Kabaya and the Phil Company Group have been collaborating since November 2023 to develop garage-equipped rental housing using domestic CLT. In July 2025, they introduced the 'Sustainable PGH' concept, and the first model property in Odawara, Kanagawa Prefecture, is currently fully occupied. This partnership combines the Phil Company Group's planning and marketing expertise with Yamaura's construction and regional capabilities to expand the supply of 'Sustainable PGH' in Nagano Prefecture and promote the use of wooden architecture.
