Inazawa City will host the experiential event "Yabai Inazawa Onpaku 2026 Summer," which utilizes local resources, for two months from August to September 2026. During the event period, a total of 14 experiential programs themed around food, nature, history, culture, and more will be held at various locations throughout the city.
"Yabai Inazawa Onpaku" is an experiential event planned and operated by citizens, offering 14 programs that leverage Inazawa's unique local resources, including food, nature, history, performing arts, and town tours. Centered around members of the "Inazawa Tourism and Town Development Lab," citizens and businesses with a strong attachment to the area will plan and operate the event to promote the region's charms.
*What is "Onpaku"?
"Onpaku" originated from the "Onsen Expo" in Beppu Onsen (Oita Prefecture) and has spread nationwide. It refers to events where participants can experience the "excitement" of a region and discover new charms of the town and its people through programs unique to that locality.
*What is the "Inazawa Tourism and Town Development Lab"?
This is a citizen-led town development team that brings together citizens who love Inazawa to create local attractions and new opportunities for interaction with the support of the tourism association.
We encourage you to visit Inazawa City on this occasion and experience the unique charms of Inazawa through the diverse experiential programs planned and operated by its citizens.
