[Caliway] CBL-514 Phase 2 Clinical Trial for Fat Reduction Approved in Australia

Caliway Biopharmaceuticals (康霈) announced that its lead drug candidate, CBL-514 injection, targeting abdominal subcutaneous fat reduction, has received approval from the Australian Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) to proceed with Phase 2 clinical trial (CBL-0206). The study will be conducted in Taiwan and Australia, enrolling approximately 250 participants. The trial will utilize objective measures including MRI imaging to evaluate changes in abdominal fat volume and the Abdominal Fat Rating Scale (AFRS). This milestone accelerates Caliway's global regulatory strategy for non-surgical aesthetic solutions.
