Our Yakitori Donburi set using Yamanashi Prefecture's Shingen Dori chicken, which was featured in "Zenkoku Umaimono Otoriyose Meikan" (Pia Publishing) at the end of last year, is also on sale and receiving great reviews.

We will cut only the most delicious parts of the Nanbudori thigh meat, wrap them in bamboo leaves, and ship them.

Background of the Initiative

The taste of chicken changes depending on whether it is sourced by part or as a whole chicken and then processed. We want you to savor the most delicious parts of Nanbudori, a chicken raised with care in Iwate Prefecture, inheriting the lineage of red chicken and fed only natural feed. Therefore, we are selling the "Nanbudori Yakitori Donburi Set" exclusively on Makuake.

As Kawasaki Torisho celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, we are also promoting our proud "Yakitori Aged Tare," which we have continuously replenished and preserved. This is why we launched the Yakitori Donburi project again this year, following last summer.

Project Overview

Our Akasaka branch offers only course meals and requires business card submission, making it difficult for some to visit. This set allows even those who cannot visit to easily enjoy a delicious Yakitori Donburi.

We will carefully select and ship only the delicious parts of the Nanbudori thigh meat suitable for Yakitori Donburi. At home, you only need to add the tare and grill it. You can fully enjoy a Yakitori Donburi that is incomparably more delicious than simply reheating pre-cooked chicken.

As an option, we have brought back our Sunagimo Koji-zuke (gizzard marinated in koji), continuing the red chicken theme. The gizzards of this rare red chicken, which accounts for only 1.5% of chickens distributed in Japan, are marinated in our special koji. The crisp texture of the fresh gizzard and the deep flavor of the red chicken spread with the koji, making it an excellent accompaniment to sake. Please give it a try.
