Shimamura Musical Instruments Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Edogawa-ku, Tokyo; President & Representative Director: Toshiaki Hirose; hereinafter 'Shimamura Musical Instruments'), which sponsors the national finals of the All Japan Student Music Competition (organized by The Mainichi Newspapers Co., Ltd.) every year, will hold the '79th All Japan Student Music Competition National Final Winners Commemorative Concert' at five Shimamura Musical Instruments locations nationwide (Kanagawa, Chiba, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka) from July to August 2026 to honor the achievements of the competition winners.

Holding Winners' Commemorative Concerts at Shimamura Musical Instruments Store Venues

Since its first edition in 1947, the All Japan Student Music Competition has been held as one of the gateways for performers. In recent years, many young musicians representing Japan have won awards, and our company sponsors the national finals of this competition every year.

Since 2021, our company has been holding the 'All Japan Student Music Competition National Final Winners Commemorative Concert' at Shimamura Musical Instruments stores and special event venues to honor the achievements of the competition winners and to provide performance opportunities for the young awardees who will support the future of the Japanese music scene.

This time, the concert will mainly feature performers who won awards at the '79th All Japan Student Music Competition' held in 2025. Please note that the Fukuoka venue will be held as a concert featuring 'National Final Participants'.
