[Opening in Tokyo in April 2027] Announcement Regarding Approval for Establishment of Musashino Academia Musicae High School by Tokyo Metropolis

School Juridical Person Musashino Academia Musicae (Chairman: Naoaki Fukui), which establishes Musashino Academia Musicae and other institutions, has received approval from the Governor of Tokyo Metropolis on June 30, 2026, for the establishment of "Musashino Academia Musicae High School," for which an application for school establishment was previously submitted to Tokyo Metropolis.

This school, as the high school (Music Department) affiliated with Musashino Academia Musicae, which will soon celebrate its 100th anniversary, has been conducting educational activities in Iruma City, Saitama Prefecture since its opening in 1973. In April 2027, it will relocate to Nerima Ward, Tokyo, and evolve into a school that creates new value while inheriting the traditional identity of this esteemed institution.

The new school building, which was grandly completed in April of this year, will offer attractive operational and curriculum programs, including the establishment of three new courses, and will practice education that carves out one's future with the power of music. Furthermore, as the new school building is located a 3-minute walk from the Musashino Academia Musicae campus, it will further deepen high school-university collaboration and significantly expand opportunities for affiliated high school students to interact with university faculty and students.
