Nagoya International School (NIS) is pleased to announce the 'NIS College Fair 2026,' scheduled for Wednesday, June 3, 2026. Marking its fifth iteration, this year’s event is set to be the largest in scale, featuring a record number of participating universities from both Japan and abroad. As a leading International Baccalaureate (IB) school in the Tokai region, NIS provides comprehensive international education from early childhood through high school. The IB curriculum, which fosters inquiry-based learning, autonomy, logical thinking, and a global perspective, is highly regarded by universities worldwide, drawing significant attention to NIS students. The College Fair serves as a vital platform for students to engage directly with university representatives, and its scale has grown annually. This year, in addition to prominent Japanese universities, institutions from the UK, Australia, Hong Kong, Europe, and Malaysia are expected to participate. This event provides students with a valuable opportunity to research their future paths through constructive dialogue. Simultaneously, it offers universities a chance to connect with students who possess global perspectives and self-driven attitudes. For the first time, a special afternoon session titled 'Explore How High School Students Explore University Options' will be held for families with children from preschool to junior high school. This session aims to address questions regarding career paths, the global evaluation of IB education, and options for studying abroad. The main fair will run from 10:00 to 14:00, followed by the special session from 13:00 to 15:00 at the NIS gymnasium. Participating institutions include prestigious universities such as Nagoya University, Waseda University, the University of London, and the University of Hong Kong. NIS remains committed to serving as a hub for global education, supporting the diverse potential of every student.
