[Risshisha Gakuen] "Special Experience Workshop" Held by World Champion Disaster Rescue Dog Trainer Nagisa Nakano

Risshisha Gakuen (Location: Sumida-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter referred to as "our institution") will hold a "Special Experience Workshop" at Osaka Animal College (Location: Fukushima-ku, Osaka) and Osaka Animal College Tennoji Campus (Location: Tennoji-ku, Osaka), operated by our institution. This workshop will be led by Nagisa Nakano, an alumna of our institution and a working dog trainer who won the "2025 FCI Disaster Rescue Dog Team World Championship".

This event is designed for high school students interested in careers involving animals, or those aspiring to become working dog trainers for disaster rescue dogs, police dogs, or guide dogs.

After graduating from high school, she enrolled in Risshisha Gakuen Osaka Animal College.

After graduating from the Dog Trainer Course, she worked as a working dog trainer.

In 2025, she won the "2025 FCI Disaster Rescue Dog Team World Championship" held in Istanbul, Turkey.

Osaka Animal College / Osaka Animal College Tennoji Campus

As vocational schools in the animal field operated by our institution, Osaka Animal College opened in 2007, followed by Osaka Animal College Tennoji Campus in 2008.

We have produced numerous graduates to date and contributed to the development of the pet industry. We offer courses such as the Dog Training Course, Animal Nursing Course, and Grooming Course, allowing students to acquire specialized skills tailored to their interests, while also providing interdisciplinary curricula that transcend course boundaries.

Furthermore, through collaboration with our sister school, "Osaka Law and Public Service Professional College," we can offer preparation for civil service examinations, enabling students to aim for careers as police officers or firefighters.

This also opens up career paths to work as civil servants in roles such as handlers for working dogs like police dogs, disaster rescue dogs, and drug detection dogs.
