Tokyo Hyogen Koto Gakuin MIICA (Location: Edogawa Ward, Tokyo; Principal: Akira Kuroda; hereinafter "MIICA"), operated by Nihon Geijutsu Gakuen Educational Foundation, has launched special classes by AOI Pro. Inc. (Headquarters: Minato Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yusaku Tanaka; hereinafter "AOI Pro.") starting May 2026.
These classes are conducted as a monthly, ongoing initiative for MIICA's 1st and 2nd-year students. The first session was held on May 15, 2026 (Fri), and the second on June 19, 2026 (Fri). Students are learning about video, planning, IP, production, and the connection between expression and society, based on the concepts actually required in the field of advertising video and content production.
MIICA is a three-year, full-time vocational high school located in Edogawa Ward, Tokyo. While learning across video production, design, photographic expression, motion graphics, planning, business, and presentation, the school aims to foster each student's ability to discover their interests and characteristics and to develop planning and expressive skills that connect with society.
In recent years, career choices for junior high school students have become more diverse. While options such as general high schools, correspondence high schools, vocational high schools, and support schools are expanding, many junior high school students and their parents feel that "general high school education feels out of sync," "they want to learn video, design, and expression from the high school level," or "they don't know how to connect their passions to their future."
These special classes by AOI Pro. are practical lessons designed to provide students with a more concrete understanding of creative work. In the field of video and content, the ability to think about "to whom, what, and how to deliver" is required, not just creating the work itself. Students will learn how their expressions connect with society while being exposed to perspectives relevant to professional work.

[Comment from Akira Hosaka, Executive Officer, AOI Pro. Inc.] MIICA's students are very interested in creation and expression from the high school level. However, I believe they haven't yet pinpointed exactly what they want to do. There are various forms of content production, not just video. I hope they will find a trigger for their future by learning the production concepts used in actual work. We will also be planning actual content throughout the year, and I look forward to seeing ideas that adults might not think of.
[Comment from Tokyo Hyogen Koto Gakuin MIICA] Students interested in video, design, photography, planning, and expression gather at MIICA. On the other hand, many students cannot yet articulate how to connect these interests to their future or what possibilities they have.
The special classes by AOI Pro. will provide students with an opportunity to understand that the creative world is not just a dream but a job that actually exists in society. Thinking about "to whom, what, and how to deliver" in addition to "creating" video and content deeply connects with the learning that MIICA values.
We want junior high school students who are looking for career paths beyond general high schools, those interested in video, design, planning, and expression, and their parents to know that there are places of learning like MIICA.
[Future Developments] MIICA will continue to offer these special classes with AOI Pro. as monthly ongoing sessions, providing students with opportunities to learn across domains such as video, advertising, content, IP, and production.
Furthermore, we will connect the learning gained from these special classes to in-school assignments, creative projects, art festivals, and career development activities, creating an educational environment where each student can express themselves to society.
