Osaka's Umeda Underground Mall "Diamor Osaka" Completely Renovates Customer Restrooms!

The underground commercial facility "Diamor Osaka" in Umeda, Osaka, is undergoing a complete renovation project for its customer restrooms. The first phase of construction was completed in May 2026, with the restrooms next to the circular plaza being renewed. We will continue to proceed with renovations in phases 2 and 3, striving to make Diamor Osaka a more attractive and comfortable facility for our customers. Sophisticated Design Inspired by Italian Cities

As Diamor Osaka is an underground mall inspired by the streetscapes of Italy, each restroom will be renovated with a design concept inspired by an Italian city.

[Phase 1] Restroom Design Concept Next to Circular Plaza: "Urban Amazing at Venice"

Designs inspired by "water" have been created, evoking the city of Venice, Italy.

A metal ceiling resembling the water's surface has been installed on the ceiling of the restroom approach.

Line lighting effects that suggest water ripples and flow have been added to the hand-washing counter, aiming for restrooms that are clean and easy for customers to use.
