Tokyo Nohin Daiko Co., Ltd. (Senko Group), Daiwa Energy Co., Ltd. (Daiwa House Group), Cosmo Energy Solutions Co., Ltd., and Senko Co., Ltd. announced that they launched a power project on June 1, 2026, at the 'DREAM Solar Tomisato II' solar power plant located at the 'Narita Fashion Logistics Center I' (Narita FLC I) in Tomisato City, Chiba Prefecture. The project combines on-site PPA with off-site PPA utilizing surplus electricity.

This marks the first time a Senko Group facility has implemented an off-site PPA project.

The on-site PPA has been operational since February 27, 2024, with Daiwa Energy handling the design, procurement, construction (EPC), operation, and maintenance of the solar power equipment. Tokyo Nohin Daiko consumes the power on-site. Previously, surplus electricity was sold via the Feed-in Tariff (FIT) system. To maximize renewable energy use within the Senko Group, the companies decided to incorporate an off-site PPA. Surplus power from Narita FLC I is now supplied to another facility, 'Tokyo Bay Fashion Arena' (TBFA) in Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture, through the power grid, with Cosmo Energy Solutions acting as the retail electricity provider. Senko led the establishment of the operational framework and plans to expand supply destinations within the group in the future.

The four companies aim to achieve both the promotion of decarbonization and the efficiency of energy use by establishing a system that effectively utilizes renewable energy.
