Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd. According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's "Towards the Development and Revitalization of the Existing Housing Market," the share of the circulation volume of existing housing (detached houses) has increased by 8.1 percentage points from 22.4% in 2013 to 30.5% in 2023. With the expansion of existing housing circulation, the importance of quality assurance and value maintenance is increasing.

Based on the results, we carry out renovation, repair work, and value-up. After the construction is completed, we conduct inspections on over 100 items based on our proprietary standards, and provide comprehensive warranties and after-sales support even after handover, thereby presenting a new value standard in the existing housing market.

Before outright purchasing existing detached houses, our specialized technicians conduct building condition surveys of over 60 items, including foundations, underfloors, and equipment. By closely examining the basic performance and deterioration status of the house, we clarify the points for renovation to improve its quality.
After renovation and repair work based on the preliminary survey, we conduct inspections of over 100 items, including exterior, roof, and interior fittings, again according to our newly established proprietary standards.
The inspection and diagnostic results are compiled into an "安心品質レポート" (Peace of Mind Quality Report) and reported to prospective buyers.

To alleviate concerns when purchasing existing detached houses, we perform maintenance and value-up of the house's structure and equipment, such as insulation performance, energy-saving performance, and security/disaster prevention aspects, based on the building's condition and current standards. For example, by updating water-saving/hot water-saving faucets, double-glazed windows, and entrance sensor lighting, we provide safe and comfortable homes.
Furthermore, our specialized technicians inspect for deterioration in less visible areas such as plumbing and electrical equipment, and perform necessary maintenance, thereby providing a living environment where residents can live with peace of mind after purchase.

For "Certified Stock Housing," we offer optimal warranties depending on the property's condition. We provide a "New Construction Warranty Transfer" or a "Structure/Waterproofing Warranty" (5-year warranty) for the building, as well as a "Plumbing/Equipment Warranty" (5-year warranty) for plumbing and equipment, and a "Home Equipment Warranty" (10-year warranty) (Note 3) for equipment.
Additionally, after handover, we provide a comprehensive warranty and after-sales support system to ensure long-term, worry-free living, with a 24/7 support system available to respond quickly to unexpected troubles.
