U30 Sakai City Entrepreneur Incubation Program 'SIP' - Applications Open for 6th Cohort!

S-Cube, the largest incubation facility in southern Osaka located in Sakai-Nakamozu, has begun accepting applications for the 6th cohort of the 'U30 Sakai City Entrepreneur Incubation Program "SIP"', which supports young entrepreneurs aged 30 and under. This program will help participants shape their business ideas into reality and support them through to startup over six months.

This program is free of charge and supports young people in starting businesses in Sakai City through six business creation workshops and a pitch contest.

Kaori Nishii, CEO of NEWRON Inc., who has conducted numerous entrepreneurship support programs for local governments and universities, will be lecturing. With the motto 'Execution First,' she will teach the essential points for launching a business, drawing from her own experience as a student entrepreneur.

Guest mentors will include entrepreneurs such as Akinori Shigeomi, CEO of Yumemiru Inc., as well as investors and professionals.

We encourage those who want to aim for entrepreneurship while competing and having fun with peers of similar age and background, or those who want to start a business but 'don't know where to start...' to feel free to participate.

Upon completion of all courses, participants may be eligible for a certificate of completion for the Specified Startup Support Project, which qualifies them for preferential measures such as reduced registration and license tax when establishing a company and preferential loan conditions.

Over 20 entrepreneurs have been born from past participants (Cohorts 1-5).

Eligibility Criteria

All of the following must be met:

- Applicants aged 30 or under

- Residents, employees, or students in Sakai City, or those planning to start a business in Sakai City

- Individuals interested in entrepreneurship or new business creation (those who have already started a business are also welcome to participate)

- Individuals willing to cooperate by posting photos of the event and commemorative shots on their own social media
