The Toda City Board of Education in Saitama Prefecture will sign a partnership agreement with the Institute of Technologists (Gyoda City, Saitama Prefecture) to enhance and promote manufacturing education, including the use of ICT equipment.
To date, the city has been promoting 'Toda-style PBL' (Problem-Based Learning), which aims to cultivate the ability of children to solve local and social issues with their own hands, including the introduction of laser processing machines in junior high schools. Under this new agreement, the university's advanced professional knowledge and practical resources will be introduced to school classrooms. Initiatives will include support for ICT equipment utilization, joint practical teaching sessions with specialists, and training programs to enhance teachers' instructional skills.
Through this partnership, the city aims to further advance high-quality, real-world-connected Toda-style PBL.
